When you've been vomited on and don't even realize it, THAT is when you realize that you are truly in the trenches of parenthood.
Last night, Leah was hanging out over my shoulder and she made her little 'vomiting gurgle'. I pulled her off my shoulder and looked at the little bit that was on her lip and wondered why she was so upset at such a small amount of spit up. After walking around and soothing her a bit, I went to sit back down only to realize that my entire back was drenched in vomit, and that the futon had also been victimized. What a proud moment that was, to realize that my little angel vomits like a stealthy ninja.
